New Overtime Rule in NFL

They have just reported that there might be a new overtime rule in the NFL. The rule will be, that instead of sudden death it will be the first team to score, scores a fieldgoal then the other team will get the ball with a chance to score. But if the first team to score, scores a touchdown then the game will be over. I personally like this rule a lot and I feel like it will make overtime better and it wont be decided on the fate of heads or tails. Which really should not be the way that an NFL game should be determined. This new rule will make the NFL overtime a lot better than what it was before.

Chad Ochocinco

Chad Ochocinco has just reported on his twitter page that he will be participating in the T.V show Dancing with the Stars. This comes as no shock to anyone who follows Chad, he has shown his great moves and personality with his excessive celebrations including a river dance in which he showed his nimble feet. I feel that he will be very fun to wath and will probably be pretty good. I am also looking forward to watching Erin Andrews as well. It has also been reported that Ochocinco will have his own reality dating show on VH1. He is going to have 85 girls try and win his heart over in a tournament style dating game. This should be very interesting to watch as the world will get to see a different side of the multi talented Chad Ochocinco.

Sidney Crosby

Sid the Kid proved yet once again that he is the best player in all of hockey. On Sunday playing for team Canada against the U.S, Crosby scored the game winning goal in overtime to give the Canadians the gold medal. Throughout the game Crosby was held in check the until the final seconds of overtime, when he five holed Ryan Miller to win the game. This was probably one of the greatest days in Canadian history with thier "Golden Boy" winning them the Gold medal. Americas heart dropped when they saw 87 cut to the net wide open, and with a nice pass he stabbed a daggar into the heart of America.

Iverson Out

Allen Iverson is reported to be done for the season the 76ers reported today. Iverson has taken leave from the team to be with his daughter who is reported to be very sick. I would not be surprised if AI were to retired after the year is over. He has been traded three different times in the past two years and has seemed to not be happy at any place that he has been. If he does retire he will leave a legacy as one of the best guards to ever play the game of basketball, even though he never won a championship.

Best teams in college basketball/number one seeds

Syracuse- I personally beleive that Cuse is the best team in college basketball this year. They are very good all round and play great defense, they can shoot, and they can also beat you on this inside with Wesley Johnson and Rick Jackson. They are led by Senior Andy Rautins who is one of the best defenders in all of college basketball and he can also knock it down from the outside. Cuse plays in the Big Eas which is the best conference in college basketball hands down and they are the best team in the Big East. They are my choice to win the national championship. Here is Bobby Knights breakdown of the Cuse 2-3 zone http://coachingbetterbball.blogspot.com/2007/10/syracuse-2-3-zone.html

Kansas- The Jayhawks are a close second behind Syracuse in my opinion. They are led by senior point guard Sharon Collins who will probably be the player of the year in the Big 12, which is in most peoples opinion the second best conference in America. Cole Aldridge is one of the nations best shot blockers on the interior and he also averages 12 ppg for the Jayhawks. They have a lot of depth and can bring some seniors with experience off the bench. Also fresmen Xavier Henry is one of the nations best freshmen averaging around 14 ppg. I feel that they will go far in the tournament with their senior leadership.

Kentucky- In my opinion the Cats are the third best team in the nation but have a good shot at winning a national championship. They have the best starting five in college basketball hands down, and also the biggest starting five averaging 6"7. Their whole starting lineup will all eventually be playing in the NBA within the next year or two. Freshmen John wall who is the leading candidate for player of the year has led the cats to a two loss season so far. With Wall, Patrick Patterson, and Demarcus Cousins Kentucky is a very scary team and if the freshmen can play like hes been playing all year then they will have a good shot at the title.

Ohio State- The Buckeyes are my pick for the fourth best team in the nation and also the fourth number one seed in the tournament. They are led by Evan Turner who is also a candidate for player of the year. He almost single handedly has taken over games and put the team on his back. He is averaging nearly 20 ppg and no one in the country has been able to shut him down so far this year. When he is playing well and John Deibler is hitting from the outside the Buckeyes are a tough team to beat. In my opinion they are a sleeper number one seed but might have a chance at snatching it up with the loss of Robby Hummel Purdues star player.
