Kevin Durant and the Thunder

Kevin Durant won this years NBA scoring title becomming the youngest player in NBA history to do so. He locked the title up by scoring three 40 point games at the end of April. The 21 year old Durant finished the season averaging 30.1 points per game. Not only has Durant won the scoring title but led the Thunder to their first playoff berth ever, they earned themselves the 8th spot in the West and will play the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the playoffs.

Durants size and quickness create a mismatch for a lot of the forwards in the NBA. He is 6'10 and can shoot the three but he can also play point guard for the Thunder as well. There hasnt been anyone in the NBA who at that size can handle the ball as well as he does. In only his third year in the NBA he led the league in scoring, and I am looking forward to watching this kid play for a lot longer.
