Laker Struggles

Something is going on out West in Los Angeles, the Lakers certainly do not look like the defending NBA champions. They are in a big time funk right now, and it starts with Kobe Bryant not playing well right now. He seems to be forcing shots and is reverting back to the old Kobe, thinking that he has to put the team on his shoulders, when he actually has a lot of talent around him. Arguably the Lakers have the best starting five in all of basketball but they are clearly out of sync. Their two big men Gasol and Bynum need to start getting involved and taking advantage of the Thunders lack of size in the middle. Those two are playing very soft and in order to win they need to step thier games up.

With the series tied 2-2 the Lakers better be careful especially with this young Oklahoma team who seems to keep gaining more confidence game by game. The Lakers need to get back to playing team defense and stopping Kevin Durant and Russel Westbrook who they seem to have no answers for. Phil Jackson needs to change some things around and instill the thought of team defense back into his players heads because that is what won them the championship last year.
