New England taking full advantage of draft

Once again the New England Patriots showed why they remain one of the NFL's elite franchises. They took full advantage of the draft by obtaining the most draft picks out of all 32 teams with 12 total picks. Notably they had three picks in the second round in which they took advantage by drafting three solid players in Rob Grankowski, Jermaine Cunninham, and Brandon spikes.

The Patriots have always enphasized on the value of whole draft and not just the first two rounds, case in point being Tom Brady whom they selected with the number 199th pick overall in the 2000 draft. They do this by taking advantage of teams who get over anxious and want to move up on draft day. These over anxious teams will give two for one deals, meaning you give them an early round pick for two later round picks, which the Patriots have been great at doing over that past decade. This is great for teams who have done their homework on all of the players in the draft and know the value of full 7 rounds rather than just the first one or two rounds.
